If you’re planning to visit Kathmandu and are seeking for a marvelous stay in a decent budget then Hotel Himalaya Hub is a perfect choice. Located just outside of Thamel away from the noisy, crowded streets, this is a great location to start experiencing Kathmandu. It’s an endearing hotel with some sublime inter structures, spacey and comfortable rooms, and friendly staff that’s always open for suggestions. Hopefully, this Hotel Himalaya Hub review will provide you with some helpful tips in case you’re looking for accommodation in Kathmandu.
The hotel has three types of rooms; Deluxe double room, Suite room, and Double room.
The Double Room is perfect for families, friends and also budget travelers. The room includes two twin beds, an attached bathroom, and is (of course) well-furnished. Furthermore, the room has air conditioning, a satellite TV, bottled water, room service, a telephone, refrigerator, a great WiFi connection, elegant cupboards, a coffee pot, and a stylish reading lamp. Finally, the price for this room is $35 per night.
Next is the Superior Deluxe Room. This one comes with a Double Bed, a beautiful view of the city, and it costs USD $40 per night. The Deluxe Room is well-furnished and provides a serene environment for guests. It includes a king-sized bed and an attached bathroom.
Last but not least is the Suite room. This room has all the necessary amenities to have a relaxed stay despite being next to the heart of Kathmandu. The Suite Room is the highest tier room Himalaya Hub offers. The suite is very spacious and peaceful and is a great choice for travelers looking to add some luxury to their Kathmandu visit.
The hotel features with a prepaid airport shuttle on request, a pretty, green lawn where guests can go out and relax, a bar /lounge, and a restaurant on the rooftop which serves amazing food with various choices of Indian, Chinese, Nepali and continental dishes.
Free wifi is provided in all of the rooms and the common areas and a free parking spot is available. The hotel is also accessible for people with disabilities. Other amenities include a roof terrace with an amazing view of Swayambhunath (the infamous Monkey Temple) as well as the pristine Himalayas to the north, a business center, and dry cleaning facilities.
Finally, the front desk is available 24/7 and all guests are welcomed with a complimentary, refreshing drink.

Interior and design
As you enter the Hotel Himalaya Hub, you will be greeted by a friendly face and a refreshing drink. As for the style, Hotel Himalaya Hub is one of the rare places in Kathmandu where the modern meets the tradition.
The rooms are stylish and equipped with all modern amenities and the hotel has an amazing green garden. My favorite part was probably the rooftop bar that offers an amazing view of the Thamel to the south and the mountains in the north.
