I was planning on taking my family for a summer break to Phoenix and I am curious to explore the South Mountain Park as well during the trip. This resort seems like a perfect place to stay at while visiting the area. My kids would love to spend some time at the Oasis Water Park. It definitely does give the home away from home feeling as you mention – amazing array of amenities which I guess justify their price. Thanks for sharing the informative post – will definitely look into booking at this place.

My family went on a trip earlier this year and I want to persuade them to go on another one. The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa looks like the perfect place for us! I like that you can get suits with three bedrooms, not a lot of places offer that. The waterpark and the dining options are pluses too.

Great exhaustive post on the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa! I like the history behind the resort, its proximity to the South Mountain Preserve and the largest municipal park.

These are two wonderful options for luxury accommodation in Phoenix. I think I would prefer the Arizona Grand for the Oasis Water Park. I usually travel with my kid and he will love it. The suites also look fabulous and I am sure this looks just the perfect place for a family vacation.

Both the places offer a great stay where you are spoilt for choices. I personally love the Arizona Grand more. Six restaurants with high quality food, 50 different kinds of tequila, 7-acre water park, soothing spa, 18-hole golf course, spacious suites with private balconies – everything sounds like sheer luxury. Great to know they have spa packages for children and teens as well.

I just love Scottsdale and have stayed at the Scott Resort several times now. They make some really good cocktails in their bar, which just may be my favorite part. I always have a great time there, and Scottsdale is such a great spot for a getaway, I’d recommend it to everyone.

Wow, this looks like a wonderful combination of luxury and fun. I have always wanted to stay at a place like this. The spa amenities sound perfect for the tired souls like me who have been working all the time.

Wow! The hotel is indeed luxurious! It would perfect for the relaxed vacation.
As someone who likes to head to the woods, this hotel is perfect for me as its at the doorstep of the nature reserve.
7 acre water park with those water slides? I’m sold already! Its just perfect. I’d just leave my husband and kids there and head to the spa by myself! Lolz.

These resorts look absolutely lovely. Lucky you to have spent time in them. I love big huge resorts near major US cities that have something for everyone, in particular kids. I want to go down the water slides! and then get a massage after. Thanks for the recommendation. I am definitely keen to try it.

Both these resorts look and sound amazing. I haven’t really explored this part of the states too much but it’s an area I’d like to see more of. Looks like we have the accommodation sorted. Doesn’t look like a budget place, but it’s good to treat yourself to a bit of luxury every now and then.

Arizona Grand Resort & Spa really looks grand, magnificient and worth staying. It is good that this one is the only AAA Four Diamond all-suite resort in Arizona. Even the location of is resort is great which is at the foot of the South Mountain Preserve. Wow it is so huge with 700 suites and spread over 120,000 square feet area.

The resort is like a mini-city! Six restaurants mean a lot of F&B options and that’s always great in any hotel or resort. The pools and cabanas look like an amazing place to relax. What catches my eye is the 7-acre water park, you could spend an entire day there! AAA Four Diamond all-suite resort sounds like such a luxury!

These two are indeed very luxurious resorts that you have brought up. I loved the villa suite of Arizona Grand Resort & Spa and the best part is to have the entrance facility to the water park when you book a room there. That’s a great plus! However, as I like to stay a bit further the crowd or downtown, Scott Resort & Spa, which looks equally gorgeous to me, will be my preferred option for accommodation.
