I have been to Paris a few times but have always stayed on the tourist path. I literally had no idea any of these places existed and they all sound fabulous!! I would especially love to go the Rue Cremieux! Some great ideas to get off-the-beaten-track here and I will definitely be coming back to this article when I next return there.

I love finding off-the-beaten-path things to do in major tourist cities. Don’t get me wrong – seeing the major sights are fantastic, but I do enjoy mixing it up a bit. I think checking out the sewer museum would be a gas! I’m also intrigued that the oldest basketball court is in Paris and that you can play on it!

Wow! This, really, is an offbeat guide of Paris. I had heard of only a couple of these places. The rest are truly hidden gems of Paris, many of which I would like to visit. The gallery in the public bath and the sewer museum have perked my interest. Will include them in my itinerary the next time I am in the city.

You have certainly listed some of the most unusual things to do in Paris. Every city has thousands of such nooks and corners, but one doesn’t get the opportunity to experience all of it. And that’s why I enjoy second and third visits more.

I have no idea of any of these places! An art gallery in a bath? Too cool. What a great list you’ve put together. I cannot wait to see these places for myself!

This is such a great list. I’ve been to Paris twice now, and have primarily just seen the big attractions. I’ve been to Jardin du Luxembourg, but haven’t been to any other locations you mention here. I’m really interested in the street art at Butte aux Cailles. I’ve seen some pretty great street art in the world, but would love to see some in Paris.

If you like street art, you’ll surely find some amazing places in Paris. Butte aux Cailles is one that falls off the beaten track but that doesn’t make it less spectacular. I hope you get the chance to visit someday

I love Paris and visit it quite often. But out of the 17 hidden gems you mentioned, I have barely been to 5. I would like to visit Les Douches La Galerie. I had no idea it was built as a public bath in the 1930s

As there are so many popular tourist attractions in Paris, people miss some offbeat or hidden gems in this city. I love the village atmosphere and therefore Charrone looks beautiful and perfect for me. Next time I would surely look out for Charone. OMG, I missed the colorful streets of Rue Cremieux as I love such quirky quaint places. I would surely refer to your post when I visit Paris next time.

Wow I had no idea Paris was filled with so many unknown gems! The oldest basketball court in the world and that gorgeous hidden hill are two things that stood out to me the most but the Saint-Eugène Sainte-Cécile is also such a beautiful place to visit, I’d love to take in all of these in person on my next visit to this city!

Paris has an unending list of things to do. There is a different vibe about it. You have listed down exciting and fun things to. I have just done 7 off it. Time to go back and try out more. The happiest street, the unusual museum, the garden of ruins will definitely be on my list.

Love this post! I have to admit, if and when I go to Paris, there’s a pretty good chance I’ll just write a blog post about its most famous attractions. This, however, is a breath of fresh air! Rue Cremieux especially looks beautiful, but every spot you mention looks worth a visit!
