Machu Picchu is definitely on my list, and I like the idea of taking a hike around. It seems like the best way to see it and learn a bit about the people, too. I have also always wanted to see the bluish waters of Lake Tahoe. Hopefully some day! :)

Awesome list! Just got back from Cinque Terre and it was really beautiful. Awesome place, though maybe a bit too crowded in September. I'd be interested to go back in Oct/Nov and see how it's different. And can't wait to get to Petra one of these days!

Many nice and Instagram friendly locations on this list. If I only had to choose one, I would go for Machu Picchu in Peru before it gets even more touristy.
